Recital: Bruce Liu in Håkonshallen

During the 2022 Grieg Competition, Bruce Liu gives a recital in the medieval castle ‘Håkonshallen' (King Håkon's Hall) in Bergen, Friday 2 September at 19.30.
Bruce Liu was brought to the world’s attention in 2021, when he won the First Prize at the 18th Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw. Following his competition’s success, he immediately embarks on a world tour, appearing at Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris, BOZAR Brussels, Vienna Konzerthaus, Tokyo Opera City, Sala São Paulo, Royal Festival Hall with the Philharmonia Orchestra, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra and Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra.
Upcoming highlights include debut with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, U.S tour with Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, European tour with Montreal Symphony Orchestra, festival appearances at la Roque d’Anthéron, Rheingau Musik Festival , Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Riga Jurmala, Chopin and his Europe, Duszniki, and Klavier Festival Ruhr. In 2022, he signed an exclusive contract with Deutsche Grammophon. His first album, featuring the winning performances from the Chopin Competition, received international acclaim including both the Critics’ choice and Editor’s choice from the Gramophone Magazine.
